The purpose of the Chicago Chapter of The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) is to enable local BI/DW professionals to:

  • Meet regularly with each other on a regional basis
  • Share best practices in a small group setting
  • Establish a strong network of peers
  • Gain technical advice and career direction

Everyone is welcome. We encourage you to join TDWI, but you do not need to be a member to attend.

Presenter Bio’s

Mike Shelton, Microsoft Data Platform Technical Specialist
As Data Platform Technical Specialist at Microsoft Corporation, Mike works with customers to understand business and technical requirements to map Microsoft solutions and technologies to address these requirements. The solution areas Mike works with include data warehouse, reporting, dashboard deliver, multi-dimension data analysis, predictive analytics and Hadoop.  Mike has been with Microsoft for the past 10 years working with data management and business intelligence technologies. Prior to joining Microsoft Mike worked as a database administrator. Mike has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University.
