February 22nd 2011: What is HADOOP and why should I care?
Connect. Share. Learn.
ATTENTION ALL Data and Information PROFESSIONALS IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AREA
Dear Northwest Data and Information Professionals,
We cordially invite you to attend our upcoming TDWI Northwest Chapter meeting focused on HADOOP, a powerful tool for processing huge quantities of data—it can enhance and co-exist with existing enterprise BI/DW systems. The open systems world is heralding Hadoop as a significant capability that will change the way we architect Data Warehouses in the future. But many in the business and IT community still wonder how it can help the average BI/DW initiative.
The meeting will be held on February 22nd, 2011 at Amazon’s South Lake Union Campus in Seattle.
Come meet other local professionals, swap business cards, share ideas, and exchange career advice while listening to quality presentations in a vendor-neutral setting, which is the hallmark of TDWI education. See our meeting agenda below....Online Pre-Registration is preferred by Amazon Security.
