9:15 - 10:15 a.m.	Presentation: *"Role Based Reporting"* by Aline Koch, Independent Consultant
	Abstract Transitioning from functional to role-based reporting creates a more user-friendly environment with lower maintenance. The requirements will have to be dynamic and centralized for this type of reporting. In order to be effective, it will also need input from both the people in that role and their management.

	Abstract Business intelligence projects struggle with a variety of issues that chronically inhibit success. Some of these issues are technical – many are not. Bios of Presenters

Aline Koch
Independent Consultant

Aline started in IT at EDS in 1994. After getting her MBA from Arizona State and a MIM from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management in 1998, she worked within the business doing BI for her department without realizing it. In 2000, she went to work for MetaSolv Software, now owned by Oracle. She was a consultant in Professional Services and part of the team that created the reporting solution for the main product, TBS (Telecom Business Solution), using Business Objects. She also led the team doing the Data Model training for clients and Data Model consulting. From there, she started the BI program for HQ during bankruptcy to gain visibility and aid the business to emerge from bankruptcy. HQ emerged from bankruptcy without having to borrow any money and was able to sell the company less than a year after bankruptcy for ~$300M to Regus. She became a part of Regus. Since that time, she has been promoted and was in charge of the Americas, having a team of 6 people who report directly to her, was included in Global groups or steering committees to help shape changes, and helped create the data warehouse as well as New World global reporting.

Maureen Clarry
Maureen Clarry is President and CEO of CONNECT: The Knowledge Network. She regularly speaks on leadership and team issues related to information technology organizations and projects. Maureen is on the faculty of The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI), participates on the Data Warehousing Advisory Board for The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, and hosts the Leadership and Management Channel for B-Eye-Network. Maureen also served as the Membership and PR Coordinator for the TDWI Colorado Chapter from 2006 to 2009.

CONNECT was recognized as the South Metro Denver Small Business of the Year, and has been listed in the Top 50 Women Owned Businesses and the Top 250 Privately Owned Businesses in Colorado
