Bios of Presenters

Mr Peter Maddison - CBA
Head of CommBiz

CommBiz is the Bank’s premium online corporate banking channel for all business, corporate and government clients. Peter has driven CommBiz from inception (just over 5 years ago) to where it is today.  His previous roles include responsibility for representing the Bank at IdenTrust – a global online security standard; he has also had roles responsible for payable and receivable electronic products, including Direct Debit, Direct Credit, BPAY™, Real Time Gross Settlement and International services.  Peter also spent 5 years representing the Bank at the Australian Payment and Clearing Association (APCA) which is responsible for, amongst other things, the industry rules for Direct Credit and Direct Debit.  Peter has a Marketing undergraduate qualification and a postgraduate Diploma in Financial Services Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
